Greg Snider

Greg Snider is a seasoned financial educator in the Calgary area with well over 2,000 individuals having attended both his pre-retirement and post-retirement workshops. He has co-hosted a live financial talk show on CFAC’s “Ask the Expert” program which reached more than 50,000 weekly listeners in southern Alberta.

For 32 years Greg has supported over 1,500 people by assisting them to navigate the challenges of creating and preserving their wealth. He helps instil security, peace of mind, and meaningful legacies for these families, and takes care to incorporate their philanthropic wishes for those causes that are important to them. As a Certified Financial Planner® and Elder Planning Counsellor, Greg’s guidance on prudent tax management has saved $3.6 million for the families with whom he has worked.

Greg is an active board member for JazzYYC with its vision to serve and nourish the jazz community in the Calgary area. He is a past Vice president of the Cosmopolitan International Club of Calgary which has a strong focus on local fundraising initiatives and whose motto is “Unity, Service & Action”. Greg and his wife, Priscila, also founded and hosted the “Celebration of Life” galas raising over $200,000 for local and international charities such as Hull Child and Family Services, Save The Children, and the Calgary Food Bank.

Greg shares his home life with his wife Priscila, two of his six children, Steven and Scott, and mother in-law, Lilia. He has a passion for travel, music, and ballroom dancing. One of Greg’s favourite quotes is, “The more you live the less you die.”
